Hi CTpoker, welcome to the Connecticut Gambling Forum! I'm glad you found us and hope you return often.

The Hold'em tournament is being held at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT. Foxwoods has great poker rooms, both smoking and non-smoking gaming areas as well as fabulous food and accommodations.

Hi - what is meant by "the" n/l holdem tournament?? Doesn't Foxwoods Casino always have them? What are the rules on no limit holem' in Connecticut?

Is this a special tournament for Hurricane relief or what?

Best regards,
Bernie

Hi Bernie! No, that isn't a special tournament and I assume the original poster was simply asking where to find the local tournament. There are some online tournaments scheduled to assist with the hurricane relief effort, but I have not yet heard of any 'in-person' tournaments being scheduled.

Here is a link to the Foxwood rules on poker: xhttp://www.foxwoods.com/Gaming/Poker/Rules/TexasHoldemGames.htm
