Ive been playing the .50/1.00 NL.

Has anyone ever though of dropping down to lower limits but just raising the pot every time?

Ive been thinking of dropping down to the .10/.20 and if I get a playing hand just raise the pot to 1.00 as if I was playing the .50/1.00 games.
It seems to me that this would allow me to steal a lot of pots and push out the limpers much easier. I realize that I wouldnt have as much money to buy in but I can just keep rebuying if I needed too. Does this make sense to anyone or not?

On paper it sounds good, but it may not work out to well. You will most likely become a disguise for everyone elses hand. They simply hide behind all your betting, stalk and pounce.

Seems every table I sit down at I have enough aggressors to where I never have to be the aggressor. I just stalk and pounce when I hit the nut hand. I'm always going for the scared money who gets lucky image. Once I get 3-4x the buy-in the gigs up and I have to change tables. People razz me all the time about my luck and drawing out on them. What little they know!

There's no harm in giving it a try. But I think you'll find that after the first ten minutes, you will get called just as often by raising as you would be by betting. You will not lose very many callers by raising at such low limits, and you will lose twice as much when your hand is second best.

Of course, you will win twice as much when your hand IS best. The trick is knowing when you have the best hand, but that's true under any strategy.

I expect to get called as I would expect to get called at a regular .50/1 game. I would just get called with less people and only by those with good starting hands.

Negative! You will get called by a sucker hand and you'll never see it coming.

I am unbelievably insanely loose heads up. Had 3T offsuite one time on SB. Everyone folds to the guy before me and he raises 3xbb to once again steel blinds as he's done consistantly in this situation no matter what cards he's holding. I figure BB will fold and we'll be heads up so I call and sure enough BB folds (wimp..hehe). Flop is 4334. I get amazingly lucky here, but that's what I was after of course, bust him with a sucker hand for being a non-stop blind stealer. He of course bets in to me (typical) and I call. Turn is J and he bets again I reraise and he calls. River is rag and he checks this time. I bet half pot hoping to entice a call and he does. I didn't bust him bad, but it was a good hit. He had amazingly enough J9 and thought his top pair might be good.

Sure, dropping a limit and playing aggressively can clam many a table right up. However, stealing blinds in .10/.20 isn't going to buy you all that much at the bigger tables and as said above, sometime or another someone is going to call you and all those blinds you've stolen the past 7 hands will end up back in someone elses stack.
